What Photos Help a Handyman Quote Faster?

Good photos reduce guesswork. They help show the item, surrounding area, access, damage and whether parts or specialist work may be needed.

Start with one wide photo

A wide photo shows the whole door, cabinet, wall, appliance or room context. This is useful because close-up photos alone can hide access issues or the exact location of the problem.

Add close-ups of the faulty part

Take close-up photos of hinges, handles, cracks, leaks, brackets, screws, labels or broken parts. If there is a model number or product label, include it.

Show access and constraints

For work in cabinets, ceilings, bathrooms or tight corners, show the space around the repair. Access can affect tools, time and whether the scope is suitable.

Describe the property type and timing

Include whether the property is HDB, condo, landed or commercial, plus your area or postal code and preferred timing. Do not include private details that are not needed.
