FAQ
Common questions before contacting SD Repair
Useful answers about photos, quotes, booking a visit and choosing the right help.
Can I send photos before booking?
Yes. Send a wide photo, a close-up of the issue and a model label where relevant. A short video can help with an intermittent fault, provided it is safe to record.
Can I include several small jobs?
Yes. List the jobs by room and include photos of each. The work, parts and access can then be considered together before arranging a visit.
How much will my repair cost?
The quote depends on the fault, condition, parts and access. Some problems can be scoped from photos; concealed or uncertain faults may need an inspection. Confirm any inspection charge and the proposed work before booking.
What happens after I enquire?
The issue and likely scope are discussed first, followed by availability and a suitable visit. A submitted enquiry is not a confirmed appointment.
Who should carry out electrical or regulated plumbing work?
Electrical work needs an appropriately licensed electrical worker. Regulated water-service and sanitary plumbing work requires a PUB Licensed Plumber. Confirm the responsible professional before arranging that work.
What should I tell you about my property?
Share whether it is an HDB flat, condo, landed home, office or shop, plus your area. Include management approval, access hours or landlord arrangements relevant to the repair.
